CAPTAINCY CONTENDERS- In my opinion, there are 4 solid captaincy options this week, with all of them able to obtain a huge haul.
Let's start from the top:
Diego Costa- With Chelsea's main man leading the Golden Boot race, he is essential in every fantasy football team. Having scored 7 goals in his first 4 games and averaging 10.25 points per game, he is nearing Suarez numbers of the 2013-14 season. Despite a difficult fixture coming up at the weekend against Champions Manchester City, I still back Costa to do well, as Chelsea look to be playing a lot better football than City at the moment. Many are doubtful with this one, as they feel Mourinho will go to the Etihad to park the bus. This of course was the case many times last year, but I just feel that Chelsea have a different vibe to them this season. I feel this game will be very open, and if Chelsea score Costa's surely to be involved.
Emmanuel Adebayor- After being rested from Tottenham's mid-week Europa match, the Togolese striker goes into this weekend's match against West Brom fresh. WBA look very poor, as they've been shut out in 3 of their first 4 games. I expect Spurs to dominate this game and Adebayor to be involved in the goals. He is a good captaincy choice this week.
CLEAN SHEET POTENTIAL- I fancy three clean sheets this week:
QPR at home to Stoke City
Tottenham at home to West Brom
Everton at home to Crystal Palace
